Finally a mattress company to rely on

Having moved house recently we found ourselves having to buy four mattresses in short order. For a variety of pricing, availability and timing reasons we ended up ordering these four mattresses from four separate companies.

The first was ok - the big online retailer with a river like name. The other two (mattress specialists) both had problems, the second of which ( I won't name them here) were a customer service nightmare initially until finally getting resolved.

Our order from Purelybeds was a bit strange. Due to what we already had we wanted two difficult-to-find odd size items:
A 5'0" x 6'9" mattress and a 4'6" x 6'9" divan base.

Both odd sizes, both different. Thankfully our order was delivered correctly and much earlier than originally promised. Delivery was well notified and clarified with a clear two hour window (on a Saturday at no extra cost). Additionally we spoke to Mike, who I believe to be a business principal (e.g. owner) and hence the service was exemplary.

Happy to recommend and Purelybeds will be our first point of call when we have to order a mattress again.

Bed arrived an hour or so ago: I'm very pleased with it, though I had a struggle putting it together !! (Not complaining: just didn't realize how weak I am !!).

Bed Brilliant. Very pleased have recommended you to friends. Will be looking to order another from you in next month having to wait a while until sorted out other bedroom. Yes, we love the bed. It is very comfortable. I searched for ages for long or custom beds on-line. It was tough to find you, you might consider doing something with google so that you pop up in a search more easily. Your price seemed fair compared to other companies and that is why I chose you.

I have to say we are extremely happy with the mattress you supplied, the service was excellent. I intend to order 2 more mattresses from you soon and would be happy to refer you to my clients (interior design/curtain maker). I feel that the mattress was of a superior quality for a a very competitive price. When ordering products on line with out being able to try the product first is a little worrying. My heart was in my mouth when I first tried the bed thinking it could have been a complete disaster but I was truly over the moon, the extra firmness I asked for was just what we were looking for. We have both experienced a good nights sleep since. We now realise that we have both been suffering with restless nights since September, we had been sleeping on a Sealy 2000 pocket sprung mattress which was now 10 years old. When I started to price up replacing it I thought I was going to have to spend at least £1000. I decided to take the risk buying on line from you as I new if it was a disaster for us it would probably be ok for the guest room. Anyway, all in all, we are delighted with everything.

I have received the bed. The delivery company delivered it the upstairs bedroom. All items were unmarked and undamaged. I have had a nights sleep and it is nice to wake up without a sore back! Thanks for your help and assistance.

Hi Michael,

Thank you for this email – It’s very nice to hear back from a supplier. I must admit, I was a bit worried about purchasing such a unique bed over the internet. I had received just two quotations online but I fount your site very easy to navigate and you was very pro active. My son’s bed is absolutely lovely and he is able to stretch his legs out and sleep much better.  The only thing is I forgot to order the base with 2 drawers and we are stuck for storage (well we can’t have everything in life)…. Once again, thank you for your service – I will definitely return as soon as I need a new bed.

Bed is great, i have a happy tall teenager!! It was delivered as stated and well packaged and i have passed on your number to a friend who has twins that are nearly 7ft!! Only extra would be linen but i got that online so all good.

I ordered the Elegance Supreme bed with matching divan and I wasn't disappointed. The mattress was so comfy and I noticed within days that the niggly back pain I normally suffered from following a night's sleep had disappeared. The divan's storage facility also came in handy and my bedroom is far less cluttered than it used to be. I'm sleeping better than ever! Thanks so much Purleybeds!

Having looked on the high street for a new bed we decided to take look at what was available online. Purely Beds offered a great range at great prices. They offered good advice on the most suitable type of mattress. We decided on a Moonlight king size pocket spring mattress & divan. Delivery was very quick and we have enjoyed the best sleep we have had for years at a very reasonable price saving hundreds of pounds. Highly recommended!
